At Lakewood Ranch Doodles, we understand that not every family can travel to Lindsay, Ontario to pick up their new puppy. To help make the transition easier, we offer transportation options designed to provide a safe, comfortable, and personalized experience for both puppies and their new families.

For families located within Ontario, we may be able to personally deliver your puppy directly to your home or to a mutually agreed-upon meeting location.
Unlike commercial pet transportation services, your puppy travels with a member of the Lakewood Ranch Doodles family or a trusted representative familiar with our program and our puppies.

For families located outside driving distance, we may be able to arrange for a member of the Lakewood Ranch Doodles family to personally accompany your puppy by air.
Rather than using a third-party transportation company, your puppy travels with someone who knows their routine, temperament, and individual needs.
Many families appreciate knowing their puppy is accompanied by someone directly connected to the breeder who lovingly raised them.

For families who live too far away for driving delivery or when a flight nanny is unavailable, we can also arrange for your puppy to travel safely by airline cargo within Canada.
Canadian airlines have specialized live animal programs that are designed specifically for the safe transportation of pets. Puppies travel in a secure, airline-approved travel crate in a climate-controlled, pressurized area of the aircraft that is separate from passenger luggage. Airline staff are specially trained in handling live animals and follow strict procedures during loading, unloading, and transfers.

Preparing Your Puppy for Flight
Before departure, every puppy receives:

β Familiar bedding or comfort item whenever appropriate
We carefully coordinate flight schedules to minimize travel time whenever possible.
Pickup at the Airport
Once your puppy arrives, airline staff will notify you when your puppy is ready for pickup. Families should arrive promptly with government-issued identification and any required paperwork.
Most puppies settle very well during air travel and often sleep for much of the journey. It is normal for your puppy to be excited, curious, or a little tired upon arrival.
