Ear Infections?  Bowel Irritation?  Itchy Dog?

PROBABLY AN ALLERGIC REACTION

FOOD ALLERGIES

Often An allergic reaction can be caused by diet.  We have done a ton of research on what to feed as the best nutritionally balanced food to our dogs. Golden retriever and Labrador retriever breeds DO NOT TOLERATE GRAINS, CORN, FILLERS, ARTIFICIAL FLAVOURS OR COLOURS.

They can have minor to major allergic reactions to an improper diet.

We have found a fantastic food that is holistic and improves health. The other bonus is that you can order online or by phone and it is delivered to your home FREE anywhere in North America. We chose the auto-delivery option so we don't have to remember when to order. The food content is awesome!

ENVIRONMENTAL ALLERGIES

If not food, then dogs can have allergic reactions to shampoos - scented room sprays - scented candles - atomizers - essential oils - plants

Common Puppy Ailments....

 Assessing vomiting/diarrhea...

If your puppy’s suffering from either of these nasties, the first thing to rule out is intestinal parasites. When puppies go home, stress is a factor.  It lowers immune systems and makes them very suspectible to common parasites from drinking from lakes and puddles; contact with dogs who are carriers of parasites (Giardia or Coccidia).   Easily treatable with daily pumpkin and some time to let their system fight it off.  If behaviour is good, & eating and drinking well... let your puppies immune system build and fight. Most dogs, could be tested and over half would test positive for either of these and not show ANY symptoms- as they have built a good immune system.    If lethargy, not eating or drinking.... easy anti-parasitical can be found at the vet. (Panacur)

Diet is a key component in building a good immune system with your pet.  Always consider all natural - no filler foods with probiotic and proper vitamins.

If parasites are not ruled out- they are not the cause vomiting/diarrhea, your pooch has probably just eaten or licked something he shouldn’t have. Nine times out of 10 what they’ve consumed comes back out again.

Treatment: Continue to offer water, and provide food if your puppy asks for it but that’s less essential than keeping them hydrated. After 12 hours straight (vomiting) or  days of  diarrhea, take your dog to your veterinarian if he’s not acting well. Your veterinarian can provide you with meds to help.

A simple chicken, pumpkin and rice- therapeutic bland diet to help your puppy feel better.
